Overview
The dust cover replaces the existing sheet-metal cover on civilian AK47 and AKM models and provides a NATO standard Picatinny rail for mounting night vision devices, riflescopes and sights. Engineered for field use: it opens and folds up for quick access to the bolt and recoil spring, and can be closed again with the mounted optic locked and repeatably fixed by the ratchet wheel.
The Dustcover is a precision-milled aluminum replacement dust cover with integrated Picatinny scope mount for AK/AKM rifles. It provides a stable and secure platform for any Picatinny-based optic with 11.42 in of usable rail space. Designed as a true drop-in solution, it requires no gunsmithing and features a manually adjustable retention mechanism for consistent repeatability. Original iron sights remain fully operational.
Milled from 7075-T6 billet aluminum with hardened steel parts, the PDC is hard-coat anodized matte black for maximum strength and wear resistance. The practical design allows the cover to be opened and folded up for easy access to the bolt and recoil spring, and it locks back in place even with optics mounted.
